How to recover data from a logical hard drive failure?

I took the HDD out of a laptop and was pulling documents off with a hard drive reader to another computer and half way through it became inaccessible. The PC Inspector sees

the drive, but it doesn’t show me any files on it.

Aidfile data recovery sfotware is good at this situation.

Use “Undelete” mode to recover deleted files from dirve

Use “Unformat” mode to recover lost files from formatted logical hard drive

Use “Recover partition” mode to recover files if partitions changed or damaged or deleted.

Use “Advance Scan” mode to recover lost files if partitions show as “raw” or recover deleted files which can not be found with “undelete”,recover files from raw partition,recover files of partitons which are not NTFS,nor exfat,nor fat32.
